Tub gurnard

Chelidonichthys lucerna

The largest UK gurnard: reddish, armour-headed, walking on three free finger-like pectoral rays. The give-away is the enormous fan pectoral fins, vivid peacock-blue and green with a bright blue edge, flared when it moves.
