Two-spotted goby

Gobiusculus flavescens

Small orange-brown goby with TWO diagnostic black spots: one at the tail base, one behind the pectoral fin. Unlike other gobies it hovers in loose midwater groups near kelp and seaweed, not glued to the bottom.
